While we support scientific exploration over the full range of paradigmic options (and establish this institute for the purpose of such exploration), we hereby also state our personal opinions (as of Jan 10/05) that; #1. The Intelligent Design (infodynamic) scientific paradigm (core hypothesis) is both scientifically and morally superior to the Materialist paradigm (core hypothesis), and, #2. The Pleasurian<1> socio-ethical paradigm (core hypothesis) is both scientifically and morally superior to the Judeo-Christian socio-ethical paradigm (core hypothesis) -- and to religion based, socio-ethical paradigms in general. and that,
#3. The free and comprehensive application of the scientific method to the preceding paradigmatic (core) hypotheses will establish the full validity of statements #1. and #2. Given that, in both cases, we personally support the minority position, we see ourselves as uniquely suited to the task of protecting crucial minority rights in passionately disputed fields of science and cultural ideologies. 1. ID Pleasurian philosophy is a non-religious amalgam of ID science and Hefnerian Playboy philosophy. It serves as a strategically unified and archetypal counter proposal to orthodox ascetic religions such as Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism and Islam. It is also somewhat resonant with Wiccan and “mother nature”- based pagan cults (in the west) and Tantric Buddhism (in the east). Pleasurian-ism is an earthy, sensuous and physically celebratory form of “monistic idealism” or infocognitive monism.” Pleasurian science is naturally driven by the "pleasure of finding things out."

:My position on Darwinism: Darwin’s mechanism, purported to produce(+) new species, is composed of two destruction (-) functions. #1. “Random Mutation” (is a destruction function {R} applied to genetic information by {M}). and; #2. “Natural Selection” (is actually, Natural Selective Destruction {-})
Now 1+1 = 2 Thus R(-)m plus NS(-) equals a negative (-) not a positive. So what is really going on here? Darwinists simply have faith, they believe (praise Darwin, hallelujah!) that the “new” species are already in a pre-existing and stable biological solution space and that “natural selection” will merely weed out{-} all that is not the “new” species. Similarly, Darwinists believe (praise Darwin, hallelujah!) that the “new” species are already in the solution space and that randomness will jiggle and mosh things around, until these “new” species are found. Darwinist have not answered any question as to origin, they have simply pushed the problem back to a second level -- to a "logically prior superselection." Randomness and NS are merely functioning as a search engine within a pre-established solution space -- which already contains all of the structure, precision, the life, stabilty an novelty necessary to produce endless variaties of “new” species. When asked as the the source of this “logically prior superselection” Darwinists haven’t got a clue. Designing and building a slot machine establishes the set of all available combinations. The building of the slot machine (with its structure and its characteristics) is the “logically prior superselection” and the origination event that needs to be explained. The three-lemon jackpot is merely a default output and a subset of that pre-existing structure (that needs to be explained). The best reason for believing in Darwin’s “mechanism” -- Darwin's Dual destruction functions -- is the fact that, if you do not, you will be unable to get education or employment in science and you will end up living/camping in a shed. (excerpted from "'What the Bleep' Intelligent Design and the Transparadigmic approach") While materialists are quick to claim religious motivations as the source of any and all challenges, religion has been with us for a long time. If an exaltationist, consciousness based (or “God”) based science is succeeding now, when it has not done so in the past then something new must have entered into the equation. We now live in a information age. Scientists and the general public are rapidly learning about information and its dynamics. I maintain that the balance is being tipped by the emergence of a new science of “Info-Dynamics” or “ID science.” Call it “quackery” or call it “stealth creationism” but ID infodynamics is a direct match to (and derivative of) the information age. In biology, irreducibly complex, strategically informed, bio-molecular structures have been discovered. In cosmology, zero information states known as “black hole singularities” have been discovered, thereby permitting the calibration of -- and subsequent identification of -- hyper-astronomical amounts of cosmic information. Where infodynamic design analysis is permitted (and indeed encouraged) in the detection of intelligent design in, say, SETI signals (due to consistency with the materialist paradigm) but forbidden a priori in biology and cosmology (due to inconsistency with the materialist paradigm), the case can be made that a restrictive paradigm (materialism) is now impeding scientific progress. Moreover, while within infodynamics, GSL unification is child’s play (with both thermal equilibrium and the black holes --- {Sorry but this bit of information must be temporarily suppresed here due to its relevance to upcoming Quantum Gravity article April 2005} ----------) materialists are still arguing about the number of superstring microstates they can dance on the head of the proverbial singularity pin. With an increasingly confident ID community and an increasingly knowledgeable, info-savvy public, the solutions for dogmatic materialism are few;
#1. Cancel the information age. Dear Editor, I am an Intelligent Design Scientist. I have been a contributing member of the International Society for Complexity Information and Design since 2002. (ISCID is the Internet hub of ID science). I am also founder of the Pleasurian socio-ethical movement and co-founder (with Steven Clark Saba) of Pleasuria.com. On Dec. 20, 2005 Judge Jones ruled that ID is "not science" because it invokes the "supernatural" and is therefore "religion in disguise." The problem is that Pleasurian philosophy (my alleged "religion") has its roots in Hefnerian playboy philosophy, not creationism. Moreover, pleasurian philosophy is itself supported by science -- specifically the work of James W. Prescott. James W. Prescott, Ph.D. was Health Science Administrator of developmental behavioral biology at the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development from 1966-1980. See article "Body Pleasure and the Origin of Violence" Prescott 1975 - published in "The Futurist" & "Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists." Instead of a local ruling against the local Dover school board, the judge's overreaching decision (against ID science as a whole) has now enshrined sub-naturalist materialism (ideology) into state law. This is itself a violation of church (ideology) and state. Materialist "experts" are bound to misperceive ID as "supernatural" and "religious." Such statements are the automatic (knee jerk) result of embracing a sub-naturalist ideology. Science is, by definition, a progressive, unfinished exploration of the natural world. With each new finding, the definition of what is and is not "natural" changes. Enshrining the words "natural" and "supernatural" into law (dogma) is therefore not science, but anti-science. Dear Editor, Those of us in the "peace camp" who disagree with the US action in Iraq are not supporters of the Saddam Hussein regime. Instead we see the UN as a fledgling world democracy. Those who work diplomatically with UN members to establish global consensus for any given action, strengthen this fledgling world democracy. Such diplomacy builds the bridges of international communication and cooperation essential for a future world of peace. Global solutions, by their very breadth, undermine any possibility of regional polarization or hatred against any particular group, culture, religion or nation. Those who defy the will of the UN, acting unilaterally, defy the democratic will of the international community represented there. One cannot promote democracy by undermining democracy. Vigilantism only exacerbates regional polarization, singling out its participants for more hatred, terrorism and war. We believe that only solutions established through global consensus are real and lasting solutions. While constituent members can indeed become impatient, seeking quick solutions to their problems, this is true in any democracy. We maintain however that the global democratic model, with equal representation for all the world's people, is the only way to peace. We once again encourage all nations to embrace our vision of a global democracy and to abide by its transforming principles. - William Brookfield
